If you oppose everybody equally, there's no way to say, "No seriously, this one CANNOT be confirmed." If we don't pretend Rubio is supposed to be better than Matt Gaetz, it provides cover for Gaetz.

The wrongful termination lawsuits alone are going to absolutely dwarf the "savings". We're not going to see even short-term benefits from DOGE.

Browne fouled that guy, but I don't even care because that non-call felt like justice for all the times Bugiel had been mugged without a whistle.

I especially loved how their defender stood there whining instead of getting back on defense to cover Browne. Made Stevens' job so much easier.
