Which is all to say, it’s maybe worth keeping the pieces somewhere safe in case you’d like to get it repaired someday down the line when that’s not as exorbitant an expense (currently saving a shattered porcelain nightlight for such a time myself)

I think there’s people in Seattle that do genuine Kintsugi and know someone who had a good experience through Kobo/JMcraft store! Not sure about the price of that service vs. the value of this mug to you, but it’s nice to restore the original piece (also it’s food safe iirc so you can still use it)
