In 2014, he co-founded GATTAquant, known for its high-precision fluorescent nanorulers and standards for microscope characterization. In 2019, he co-founded Massive Photonics to make DNA-PAINT tools widely accessible to the scientific community.

Jürgen earned his PhD in Physics from the Technische Universität Braunschweig, where he developed imaging standards for super-resolution microscopy using fluorescently labeled DNA origami.

With a background in Biophysics, Microscopy, and DNA nanotechnology combined with a sharp sense for innovation and business, Jürgen brings both visionary leadership and technical insights to the table.
