Thanks. Does this thread work for you? Is it easy enough to read/follow?

I’m still sort of experimenting in how best to conform my Instagram/facebook posts to Bluesky.

The Lankershim Building over the years. This is the one she’s picketing next to, seen here in the 1890s, 1900, and 1954.

It was built in 1887 and came down in the 1990s

Same angle, 36 years apart. That’s the Hotel Ramona in the 1901 shot on the right, which came down in the 1910s.

I’ve been holding onto thai shot since Election Day, knowing that it was (unfortunately) going to become relevant later on. I honestly thought (worried) that it was going to be an uphill battle getting this seen and understood, so I’m thrilled that it’s caught on so quickly.

No, totally fine. This one went extremely viral very fast, and I love that it’s speaking to so many people. I just personally feel that the context makes it even more compelling, so I just wanted to make the rounds and provide it for those who wanted to know more.

In case you didn’t see the original post, the extra context makes it seem like even more of a flat circle, as she is likely protesting the use of immigration forces to target first amendment rights.

When seven nazis showed up to picket the opening of “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” at Westwood’s Village Theatre on December 22, 1967, leading 30 moviegoers to step out of line to beat the hell out of them before sending them running off into the night.
