I realize that “batting average” has been thoroughly debunked by advanced stats as the metric of a good hitter in baseball but it’s still absolutely wild to me that the AL leaderboard has only *seven* players above .300!

My mom is the primary and is *not* handling it all very well.

It’s weird to say but honestly it’s harder to stick handle her entirely valid emotional rollercoaster as a relatively healthy and able bodied person with all her marbles

I’ve been dealing with a loved one with dementia for the last few months/years and my god this is a brutal, exhausting journey.
