I get that all the time when people keep calling me Niki or refer to Niki as "me" when they're talking to me.

I made Niki specifically because I wanted a gal like Niki in toony stuff. It doesn't mean I want to be in her spot.

We're somehow still so far from gender equality. It's crazy that people are still shoving others into boxes called stereotypes, yet think they're quirky for being "different" themselves.

We're in the furry community of all places. The normie minority is the new majority. Bleh.

Oh, I've realized that a long time ago. I swear, people have this taboo where only characters in cartoons from yonder are allowed to be put into toony stuff, for example. And because there were barely any women in there, they try to preserve these values, smh.

It's 2025 and people refuse to change.

I absolutely wish the stuff I got convinced people to get more of it. If only money was an infinite resource, but that would run into its own problem of everyone seeing me as being the only source of said content.

I don't want to be the one-man band, starving on bread crumbs while others feast.

But at the same time, I felt that being aggressive ultimately doesn't achieve much either.

I've seen several artists say they'll draw X thing more, X being any of the things I'm into, but never do. It kind of feels like people lie through their teeth for appeasement.

I feel that on both a spiritual and real level. I made Niki because the toony community legit had little to no cute and sexy gals who were as thick as heavy cream.

A part of me wishes I could just go wild and be more "aggressive" with what I like.

Being the one person who only produces the content you like, whether it's being an artist or commissioner, is such a horrid truth.

Lowkey, I always wish people would get inspired to get stuff like me when I post them, but sometimes, I feel like my expectations are either misled or too high. :c

That's some good real talk right there. It's so hard finding art that hits all the right buttons. And it's rather tiresome when people keep saying "be the change you want to see," but they never tried it themselves to see how tiring it can get when you remain the only change out there.
