our sea silly of today is recognizable to everyone ! the blue tang also known as Paracanthurus hepatus ! it is the only member of the genus Paracanthurus and live in small groups of 8-14 fish !

our daily sea silly (or sillies) celebrates all starfish, or sea stars ! they are able to regenerate limbs and walk on the sea floor ! there are around 1,900 different species of sea star and all are unique and beautiful ! just like us !

our sea silly of today is one of my all time favorites! the orca whale, also known as the Orcinus orca! each pod, or group, of orcas have their own languages and behaviors ! they are matriarchal and extremely intelligent !! they are beautiful and majestic creatures !

our sea silly for today, and one of my favorites, is the dumbo octopus ! also known as Grimpoteuthis, this little guy uses the fins at the top of its head to swim, unlike other octopuses who use their tentacles to propel through water. they live in the deep sea up to 3,300 to 23,000ft ! incredible !

our first sea silly ever is the mantis shrimp! also known as Odontodactylus scyllarus! it is known for its dactyl club claw that can punch at up to 50mph ! what an amazing lil guy !
