Is it better to make kefir from grains or to start from store bought kefir?

More snow tomorrow and the ARCTIC temps next week. Possibly in the top 3 low temps of all time in Marietta. Ok winter, I'm tired of you.

Second plowing of driveway in 5 days. Plowed 10" on Monday and plowed another 4" today. I measured both times with a tape measure. Last year I did not even put the blade on.

I'm ready for the snow to end. Started with 10" last Sunday and none melted. Now another 3" has been added.

I'm ready for spring.

I ordered a special case of wine from Splash Wines and they were all the same wine. The wine is cork tainted. I opened 2 bottles to taste. Both were bad. I contacted Splash and after a little back and forth they agreed to refund the entire cost of the case. Great customer service.

I will be doing some traveling this upcoming week while keeping an eye on the weather. Church and Communion this morning at St Luke's. Beef stew in the crockpot giving off delicious aromas. Life is good, though I need to start a fire in the fireplace.

I have notified Splash Wines. It seems the entire case is cork tainted. They are all the same wine and the first bottle had cork taint so I opened a second. It was the same so I messaged them.

Second night in a row for inside fire. Just not yet into the cold for an outdoor firepit fire.

It's always a good day when you get a case of wine delivered. It's a case of Cabernet Sauvignons.

Wine was scheduled for 9:00 delivery. After 2:00 and still not here. I'm held hostage since a signature is required.
