Yup. I decided a while back that I have no stake in commenting on local matters in places I don't live or work in right now.

It seems simultaneously ironic and sacrilegious. Someone should bury a plastic protected notebook there that explains what happened.

They may have gotten stopped by a bad traffic accident. Their boss may have forced them to stay to finish something. They may have a divergent sleeping schedule & their alarm didn't work. But they should try to get notes from another student (people approached me 'cause I took notes on my laptop).
