Kiddo said today: “Mommy, what do people do if they don’t have an Auntie Tavie?” Nicole said they have to wait on the long line. 🤣

I have been going to Walt Disney World since 1983 and never in my life have I had two park days in a row where I was offered to ride a ride through a second time without waiting. TWICE.

The kiddo on this trip is gonna have a really warped idea of what’s normal theme park behavior. 🤣

WDW Day 4: Magic Kingdom Day! Featuring: the grey stuff; getting to ride 7 Dwarves MINE Train THREE TIMES; my 1st time on Tomorrowland Speedway since 1989; our first Bibbidi Boppidi Boutique experience; and a really welcome jacuzzi soak for tired Auntie Tavie!

I’ve taken the same vacation 46 times so it’s good to get some new-to-me experiences in there.

WDW Day 3 was a Disney Springs day, dominated by lunch at the T-Rex Cafe. This was a dining destination I had never considered, but the kiddo in our party loves dinos, and the theming was pretty damn fun. Also featuring: my first Build-A-Bear(Dino) experience.

One fact about GLP-1s many don’t talk about is that they control your blood sugar beautifully and do all sorts of amazing things for your health, but the appetite suppression and weight loss effects can be minimal, especially for diabetics & after a couple years. So you’re healthy, and still fat.

(Sean knows my struggle with this and every night when I call him on the terrace of our villa, he tells me how beautiful he thinks I am. ❤️❤️❤️ My angel bear.)

(This took a toll on me on my last trip in Nov 2024 when we also got Disney Photopass, and I was thinner then. So it’s even harder now. This trip is not about me but about a beautiful 5–year-old girl experiencing a magical once in a lifetime trip with her family. I am trying to focus on that.)

(But straight-sized women please please stop telling me how fat you look in photos and how fat you think you are because I AM LITERALLY TWICE YOUR SIZE RIGHT NEXT TO YOU IN THE PHOTO and I am not here to reassure you, I’m just trying to surviving in my own giant moon-faced head.)

Real talk: I’m being very brave because everyone wants me to be in photos and I look very very very bad in non-selfie photos and it’s hard in me emotionally because I’m also in charge of organizing and distributing all the photos.

I am coping.
