🥰 joy! It’s fun to see people’s reactions when they spot a ferret on a leash! Brigid likes to go outside. Sophie is terrified & stays indoors (she’s ok for walks in a hotel hall). Lily is like a rocket attached to a string (so best kept indoors). So fun to see Green Lake! Memories. ❤️ Need to visit.

Bee on what I *think* is a Butterfly Sedum, in my backyard. I’m still trying to figure out what is planted here. It was pretty overgrown in sections when we moved in. Need to create a xeriscape plan for spring.

The blue eared sparling of South Africa sits on a branch, cleaning its feathers as rain pours down from above.

When I first saw this bird I was absolutely taken aback - it was stunning. The shimmer of blue on its feathers, highlights of greens and purples. Just a gorgeous bird!

Of course, I got laughed at after finding out that this Sparling is effectively the crow […]

No Soliciting (but you can see the ferrets) - Tamra Skye I didn't realize a No Soliciting sign combined with the ferret welcome mat might work together to create something new! It's a good trade.

I accidentally found a way to discover fellow ferret enthusiasts. 😀 I think we're on a "new home buyer" list for sales, so I put out the welcome mat but added a no soliciting sign. The doorbell is still ringing, but with requests to see ferrets. Fun!
