Turns out I wasted a lot of time worrying about what to pack for the tour.
The airline decided my baggage was weighing me down and left it behind.

I am at the most stressful part of any tour. I've finished packing and am about to leave and I'm trying to figure out what I have forgotten.

Had a great last comedy writing class. There were songs of ghosts, Elvis, and homework, some standup (sitting down), and even a story about backyard chickens. Can't believe I've been doing this for 6 years now.

Getting a start on my next Zoom show where I'll be singing Torpid. Good thing too, because there's songs on it I barely remember. Even worse, I can't find the lyrics online! Usually I just google it, cut and paste, and done, but TWO of songs can't be found! What do we even have the internet for?

Yah, I had no idea the Olympics were starting today.

Okay, I've now got 12 potential songs for my Too Many Songs About Love album.
I won't be recording them all, that's for sure, but I'm also not sure which ones to cut. I'm putting off that decision since the first cut is the deepest.

I've been having a hard time coming up with more ideas for my Too Many Songs About Love album, but I just had a great one.
I was happy for about 30 seconds and have now moved on to the "how am I going to screw this up" part of the writing process.

Just put out a very, very, rough version of a song called Piano Ballad for the Comedy Song Club folks. It was recorded on my laptop microphone, but it came our pretty good! My friend Kevin is playing keyboards. We practiced it once before recording... want to keep it fresh!
