This is the most infuriatingly witless talking point. No history is “erased” by the removal of a monument. What he means is “we want to celebrate and honor racism,” but that sounds bad, so we’re supposed to pretend this illiterate goon has some deep interest in the study of history.

I not only think we should tear down Confederate monuments, but we should replace them monuments to the Union Army with the explicit mention of how virtuous it was to wage war against traitors and slavers.

Trump doing everything he can to make sure Republicans don’t lose the midterms. Trump doesn’t wanna get impeached, but he also doesn’t want face any kind of accountability (hearings, or possible impeachment) for the stuff he’s doing right now. It’s like they know that what they’re doing isn’t legit.

As a non-scientist, and reader of your first book, I’ll affirm that it was easy to read and understand and it helped me shift perspectives about all sorts of topics.
