Glad he’s gone. Not as a human being (who I don’t know) but as a player. He was completely reckless and made everyone around him worse. He played hard, but made one really bad decision after another. Just remarkably costly. Ultimately that sits at Frank’s feet. Rivera could have had a role.

Carl Pierre was the last dude I ever thought would truly be a full on UMass guy before he bailed to Rice. Does anyone think we will EVER see a UMass 4 year guy under the current free agency landscape?

Sorry to see him go. Had potential. I’ll be considerably less sad if Rivera entered the portal. He plays hard and could very well be a wonderful kid, but absolutely toxic piece of the roster. Made everyone around him worse.

Frank screwed up with Shahid. Unique game, freakish potential. Had a role. I’m not overestimating a mostly mediocre roster, but impossible not to conclude this was beyond a disaster of a season for Martin. Truly pathetic coaching. Completely checked out. He alone cost us at least 4 games.

The Collective said he “wasn’t a good fit,” which sounds like a run off. He is badly missed on this team. No second ball handler, no solid defender, and, mostly, no leadership. Interestingly, he hasn’t played yet at SFA. Maybe he’s injured?

Unfortunate the way Bamford always misses his blocking assignments. We’d be at least 4-7 without his constant screw ups.

I would agree with Frank on the first two of those three grievances.

Abdelgawod seems pretty useless; Rivera doesn’t pass and can’t shoot; Watson has shown some potential; Muhammad is mega talented but doesn’t get the minutes it seems he should. That’s it. Thats what Frank brought in. As for freshmen, Nate looks legit. Nobody else has gotten any minutes. Grim.

I’m going with 14-17. On a more positive note,!Nate Gurengomba reminds me of Charlton Clarke and that’s a good thing.
