yeah. the ways in which i interact with people around here are quite distant and passing, but I look wildly different compared to most ppl here so it’s noooot that surprising. my closest grocery store doesn’t even have self checkout LOL.

the humidity in ohio has been so bad that some days while I’m working it has felt like 100 degrees. Today it’s supposed to feel like 104 this afternoon 😬

Do u live in a big city or somewhere more rural?
I have been to the more naturey areas of CA and it’s gorgeous. If I did live there I’d wanna be somewhere more spread out, but idk how many jobs are there, and I feel like climate change would be nightmarish in the future.

The number of cars and amount of people is insane. If you were to live in a super populated city how would you ever get some real privacy? I couldn’t even really handle Chicago. It’s crowded af everywhere all the time.

how do ppl live in california?
seems like an absolute NIGHTMARE bc of the overcrowding. and you can make a fuckload of money over there not able to afford much still. some parts of it are cool but i can’t imagine actually living there. i feel lucky to be in Ohio no lie.

smash bros stories that are real but sound like they aren’t:

one time at a prelocal, i beat someone very cheesily. respectful after, we talk a bit. then he walks over to a Melee Stats guy and asks, “so… does this COUNT at all? for anything?”
MS guy goes “nah it doesn’t matter.”

MGS as a series is best played with a break after so you can let each entry sink in and be fully processed, so I would suggest break it up a bit

I hate the current culture of YouTube being around ads/sponsors when its most popular content was once for independent creators. Ads really ruined the platform, and I don’t want to feel held back by that. I wanna make stuff I like and if people love it they can use other means.

This is going to be a wide range of stuff. I don’t want to artificially bloat my videos unnecessarily either. I just want to share parts of what makes something great, and occasionally, relent the negatives that held back the artists’ goals. And then if people like that they can sub to patreon haha

I wrote the outline of a script for some movie analysis videos I want to make in the coming months. (Aiming to finish 3 outlines a month, with those videos probably being released in the following month each week?)

Rather than be plot summaries I pick movies that have stuck with me, and their depth

If anyone has good resources for that or some kind of informal “dictionary” it would help me a ton. I am notoriously slow with this, even in Melee it took me forever to learn terms like “SHFFL” “ASDI” “ISAI frames.”

I want to get into SF6. I know the general “rhythm” differences between it and Smash. Basically revolving around meters/resources you build up over time and try to strategically place correctly so u win, and combos/corner combos are just stuff you practice.

BUT I need help w/ commentator phrases!!
