Just your average guy in central indiana trying to get by. Host/GM of the podcast Mobile Suit Gundam | REDUX. I also play/build guitars I try and post a new #gameidea every day

I like parts of this but it's not subtle enough, the OUTATIME and logo on the clasp are cheesy, I like the calculator numbers but the black bars seem weirdly off centre? This seems designed by committee a bit

Lot of blue no matter who accounts suddenly following me
Still not above putting a raspberry pi in the guitar, maybe just a zero though, controlling an audio Exciter, just some real basic dsp that can have a bit of a delay on it.
Full os, doom etc
Seal a demon in it etc
I will likely have access to a CNC machine, a laser cutter and 3D print within a week
This guitar could happen
I'd wanna do an easier one I could just buy plans for first, but this could exist
The idea of a lead 2 with my pickup system, a 4x2 or Brian May headstock and a bender system is really fuckin tempting, maybe some Timara String Drops?
Call it the steel driver or something
Think it'd be pretty fucking sick
Like, this shit is art
As a graphic designer and a guy who LOVES industrial design
This is beautiful
The snow white language was perfection
Im no expert on industrial design by any stretch of the imagination, just really like it.
Only thing I've ever design designed was the ETHOS guitar concept
The design language would be usable for other things obviously but all I ever designed was the guitar and a chair I think
I fucking love FROGs industrial design, they also did all of the snow white macintosh stuff and a lot of the cool early 90s sony stuff
11.02.2025 06:42 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0just in a mood to look at cool guitars honestly
I love the industrial design of them cause like, its something that inherently NEEDS to be ergonomic at least a bit
But it rarely IS perfectly ergonomic, as making it super human friendly results in it looking a bit odd, and sounding poor
A screenshot from a pre alpha design for my game Digi Divers
A mockup of what I might do with the robopon license Basically a pokemon game made out of vroid, block bench and trenchbroom
A mockup of kimba the cat from my game Kitty Combo
A mockup of what my game Digi Divers might look like of the real world used pre rendered backgrounds
I talk about this idea a lot, mostly because it's a fun thought experiment and it's a good distraction from any of life's usual worries
Like, hard to stress about bills if I'm fantasizing about being like, the sams club version of Nintendo ya know
Just with games that look like this
some more industrial design I enjoy

28.08.2025 17:05 β π 34 π 8 π¬ 2 π 1I think it'd be funny to put a full size raspberry pi 5 in this. Have it do the IR for the piezo, have it control an acoustic Exciter based sustainer, have it control an Arduino based internal tremolo.
Have a full desktop computer in your guitar
Package it with doom
Package it with librequake
Again that's why I like mate, it has a theme thing built in that changes each piece as you want with a few clicks.
It's a wonderful os. When I eventually win the lottery and open a tech company selling OEM crap, it's the os I'll use.
Same with when I cram a computer in a guitar.
Like, I know they're antiquated, and the tuning and mechanics etc aren't like modern steels at all, but God 60s and 70s fender pedal steels sounds o god-damned beautiful
youtu.be/79zACjkVIkE?...
Theyre also usually cheaper than even student model or second hand steels too.
A modern USED steel off the forums or worse yet on reverb is gonna run you like 2-3 grand, but you can get these boys for like $900 to $2000 on the high end, but cheaper if youre patient
Society needs more steel guitar
