Once iLok reinstalled and I logged in, everything worked without any further glitches and the scanning continued to a successful end!

Therefore iLok was the real problem all along! 🤯🤯🤯🤯

New lesson learned!

When updating Apple Logic Pro X (LPX), any scanning problems may occur due to the third-party plugins themselves or iLOK!

Apple Support had me to reinstall and login to iLok since did not open from Finder.

Better guidance for Apple Logic Pro X is needed for updates!

I may skip scanning plugins if possible now and in the future and only scan once the app fully works on its own after an update fully installs.

Otherwise, keeping Force Quit on speed dial is a guaranteed time waster.

There are not enough targets to take over to provide any cover for that!

The damage is already inflating itself too!

Are there any ways to get Logic Pro 11.2 to start fully and bypass the scanning of Audio Units once the software has been updated?

The Sequoia update went very well although I underestimated how long it would take.

Logic Pro keeps hanging on the Audio Units scan afterwards, so I cannot rush it yet at all.

I’m finally updating from Mac OS Monterey to Sequoia 15.5 today and updating Logic Pro X to its latest version will be next!

The few that I may have never came to mind when Reason is mentioned.

Mentally I’m still putting each one in its own cubby hole lol 😂

Reason does make one circle and touch all bases I better understand finally.

If there are any definitive guides to using Reason 11 and above, please let me know!

I started with R10 and it still feels like it is at the airport loading dock.
