Article I: Unlawful War The Constitution provides that the House of Representatives “shall have the sole Power of Impeachment” and that the President “shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.” The Constitution further vests in Congress alone the power to declare war and to determine the Nation’s entry into armed conflict, as a fundamental safeguard against unilateral executive war-making. He has repeatedly asserted, endorsed, and normalized the view that wars and military interventions are undertaken for the purpose of seizing or controlling oil, thereby further demonstrating corrupt intent in his already unlawful waging of war. This underscores his inability to act in the best interests of our nation and its national security. He has endangered civilian populations, destabilized an entire region, and risked a broader international conflict through reckless escalation, threats of military invasion, and the authorization of violent actions directed at Venezuela and its people. In all of this, Donald John Trump has willfully disregarded federal law and the Constitution, imperiled the separation of powers, and arrogated unto himself the authority to wage unlawful war at his discretion. He has thereby betrayed as well as abused the powers of the Presidency, acted in a manner grossly incompatible with self-governance and the rule of law, and committed High Crimes and Misdemeanors. Wherefore, Donald John Trump, by such conduct, has demonstrated that he is unfit to govern a Nation by and for the people, has acted in a manner grossly incompatible with the constitutional system of checks and balances, and will remain a threat to the Constitution if allowed to remain in office.

To show that it can be done, I have drafted up an impeachment article over Venezuela with one other (non-lawyer) looking it over for edits.
