Gala's Freed from Desire used to be one of my favourite tracks from the 90s. It's been done to death at sporting events nowadays, but it is kind of cool that it's got crowds effortlessly singing a tritone (the unusual interval between each refrain) 😁

Excellent. The selective use of AI on one's own material to create new sounds and new combinations is very interesting to me. As you say, the automatic generation of whole pieces from stolen material using a single line text prompt is boring and corrupt @ednewtonrex.bsky.social you might like this?

I tend to agree... good point and very clearly expressed. Makes a lot of sense ! For me there is also a possible difference between EqT and Just intonation in the sense that one is a potentially 'objective' view that the brain has to interpret, and the other clearly shows its point of perspective.
