but yea the thing I really need to study rn art-wise is environment art

me drawing the same characters over and over again is lowkey just me training to be a comic artist and I’m not kidding 😭😭😭

I think speed is important for me tho because I wanna work on comics in the future so I can’t draw slow 💀 so I’m a little happy anyway

like I drew five portraits that quickly I was a little shocked it didn’t take me longer 😭

I don’t think my art has notably improved visually in the past few months but I feel like since the daily Hio debacle I’m getting better at drawing and picking up on mistakes during sketch phase more quickly so I feel like I’m improving somewhere anyway!

Also ngl this drawing is why I said “someone tell yohioloid to stop mogging everyone” the other day. they’re all cute and pretty now but before I refined the sketches he was the prettiest, just mogging everyone LMAO

i thought about it a little more and. yeah lol i’m a multishipper with SU too 😭 i think my vocaloid shipping ideology leeched into everything else avjdkfjfj

i wonder if i was more into other media if i would also be a multishipper with those media because maybe i would feel differently if there were canon stories cuz there isn’t that stuff with vocaloids

tbh I’m really starting to dissociate from vsynth and by that I don’t mean like I’m no longer a fan of it but I mean like in my head, the concept of it doesn’t feel real anymore like I don’t fully comprehend what’s going on anymore shdhfjkgkg

Hio is my favorite Kaleidoscope Haze character because why did Oliver spit Steampianist references at him and then he got so offended he turned away and fled from the bar

Tbf Oliver, Hio, and Ruby were main characters of Kaleidoscope Haze so it was doomed to stick with me probably

I was actually really into Evillious chronicles from maybe around 2019-2021 but the songs are classics haha so I remember listening to them even back in 2013, but yah I have a particular fondness for Evillious songs if you didn’t know that

the scream in moonlit bear i still wonder if it was actually miku vocaloid who voiced that because damn it sticks in my memory as one of the coolest emotional screams in vocaloid songs 😭

which is why “doesn’t deviate too much from the pitch” is pretty much the only tuning style thing i consistently have agdjkflg

one of the other things i use to pick up on tuning style is the flourishes and details people add to their work like if they use _0 for ending breath sounds or idolish voice cracks yk, but when i tune, when i use stuff like this is super dependent on the song so they’re never consistent
