My 3D art specialty/focus is on trying to make 3D characters that look hella accurate to 2D drawings and tbh I think I do it well but I just have to um. complete my models. at least once.

Idk if it’s just that I have high standards for myself but I never really thought my art style translated very nicely into 3D but maybe I just gotta keep trying

Hopefully 2.0 gets some more usage cuz I really wanna make some character models for animating 😵‍💫

I actually don’t think I really used her for anything other than learning how to rig because I learned new modeling techniques like right after lol but making her was very very insightful and I don’t regret it

I say that because I think the eyes are spheres but in Freya 2.0 they are empty anime eyes

Honestly the models are very similar just improved topo and modeling style that is more geared towards anime NPR (this one is kind of semi-realistic)

Decided to name my base model Freya 2.0 after my other base model Freya from 2020/2021
as request of my friend i opened the file i forgot freya was fully rigged help

never mind i forgot to make it a mouth lol

i think the topo and modeling is done i just gotta reshape it and rig it woohoo

yah gonna need more shaping but just trust the process lol

Huh actually I think I’ve been getting better at modeling cuz solving topology issues has been way easier now

legit like i'm leaving fuiro's feet like this like sorry if in the future anyone wants to edit this model for some sort of beach fit or something you're gonna have to add toes i'm not doing it dhfjgkdhs

i was working on a base model in my art style for a while but i feel like this head needs a lot more shape editing cuz it looks weird to me

i guess the most important part was getting the topology right and i'll reshape it later

I wonder if newgen Vocaloid fans try to catch up on old classics

I am only somewhat aware of vsynth popularity contests and people calling new popular vocaloid songs “slop” but the thing is that I don’t really listen to the new popular music anyway so I’m just like “damn this has nothing to do with me I kind of don’t care” shhdjfkfjsj

I’m not really all that into modern popular vocaloid music tbh 🤔 Not like there’s anything objectively wrong with it but I just prefer the old stuff and old classics

I should maybe make a vocaloid playlist for myself on Apple Music of some of my fave vocaloid songs over the years but they’re gonna be so random like

“I killed a woman that I mistook for a bear and stole her kids”
“I am in pain”
“My mother abandoned me”
“I am a Fukase demo song”
