You know, agreed! Parts were really slow and I had to focus. I actually bought the disc of Howl's Moving Castle. So, so very lovely, and such an inspiration for most of my future books on the moods and cozies.

That's so interesting how other authors laying it! I think my attempts are reversed: First and second pass is (hidden) plots because my default setting is characterization and worldbuilding. The third would be structuring the characters into getting all hot and bothered. 😁
