Some days simple chi sets(Qigong movesets) work incredibly well.
But if I start giggling with joy while moving my arms in a strange way my spouse gives me a look.๐คฃ
At least the cats donโt care when I clean out the energy body.

At least the cats donโt care when I clean out the energy body.
Had a few interesting moments wherein sending positive emotions into the stomach, and sitting deep in the area relieved some pain, and caused emotional release. It felt great. This is a skill that requires pursuing!
17.08.2025 01:10 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Splitting my attention between two energy points either inside or outside my body - feeling that polarity, then allowing it to build up energy by simply holding the awareness.
Also opening energy points along my body and placing drops of consciousness and energy inside while observing the effects.
When moving my point of awareness to my dan tien, Iโll sometimes get small discharges of energy. Is this normal within qigong? If I want to allow the energy to stay within the dan, are there any effective methods of placing awareness without the energy zapping in the direction of my consciousness?
28.05.2025 00:26 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Iโve been exploring fuller, more relaxed breathing in qigong. Itโs helpedโbut when energy starts to move, tension still shows up. Lately, itโs the neck and a few places around the lower abdomen. Curious to see what softens with time. Bringing attention to those areas, seemingly helps with release.
27.05.2025 23:11 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0During qigong warmups and active relaxation recently(no energy work), I sensed a vast, spacious presence beneath me. As I relaxed, parts of it flowed through me, bringing a wave of positive emotion. These things only seem to happen in groups/with my teacher presentโfor now.
27.05.2025 23:03 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Glad my brain's coming back online. My therapist suspected alcohol withdrawal, but after some research, I think itโs PAWS (Post-Acute Withdrawal Syndrome). That unshakable depression and gut tension finally make sense. Grateful to my therapist for the insight.
Now itโs time to continue hobbies!
Just putting this out thereโlooking to chat with folks into chakra or kundalini meditation, or qigong. Also down to talk ritual magic. Hoping this floats past all the self-promo and ads cluttering Bluesky.
27.05.2025 01:04 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Dedicated practice every day. Bubbling the lower Dan just a bit all day to help keep the energy cooking!

I want to respond to everything youโve said but I need to at least make it to the work parking lot. Iโm stoked, canโt wait to carry on this conversation.
P.s. how you decide to move and mix the energy is up to you, energy will follow thought, consider encouraging the body to assist the mind by creating tactile sensation with visualization to move the energy. Sitting in the center while mixing(seeing, tasting, feeling) from the dan increases the effect.
10.04.2025 10:18 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The mixing works best if youโve taken some time charging up the chakras with the inertial elements they associate with, then mix that energy in the lower center. Double points if you also add positive emotionality such as laughter, confidence, passion, etc. 2/2
10.04.2025 10:11 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Forgive my poor spelling. The term is from Traditional Chinese Medicine and martial arts, itโs "dantian".
There are considered to be three centers and the lower center is just below the navel and inside the body near the center line. Itโs the safest place to experiment with mixing.

I was taught to mix the chakra energy in the lower Dan Tien to create alchemy. Have you ever tried it?
10.04.2025 00:17 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0the Glenn Morris version of the Middle Pillar exercise works so well for me even when Iโm experiencing bodily tensions and emotional disturbance.
Something is healing just about every time I use this, may have to do an extended version on a weekend to see just how far I can take it.
Learning how to access the Chong and the โmiddleโ of the energy centers along that line has been very helpful in boosting mood and energy levels. Just trying not to abuse this like I do with coffee. ๐
10.03.2025 22:12 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Itโs funny that you mention that, IRL, as well as online I see that response as one of the number one reasons folks struggle, and itโs that meditation is โjust too hardโ. Not to toot my own horn, but I have ADD and deal with it just fine. Itโs a matter of โhow much do you want it?โ
09.03.2025 16:12 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Thatโs deep, I simply am parroting what I read from a martial arts teacher that also teaches meditation and chi development. In one of his books he mentions that some folks may be unable to generate chi
09.03.2025 06:39 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The spiritual experiences Iโve had prior to even starting to practice anything blow my mind and I just wonder if thereโs a subset of the population that is not able to have experiences of that type so they just never develop an interest in anything spiritual related
08.03.2025 23:43 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Personally, I just think working with energy is so much more interesting than sports and Iโm surprised there arenโt as many people that pick up this as a hobby or an interest
08.03.2025 23:35 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Iโm hoping to continue improving with this stuff myself. Just this week Iโve been able to start turning the energy towards fighting off some very persistent depression, and it worked wonderfully.
08.03.2025 20:16 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0There is a lot of overlap between systems. How would you describe your method?
08.03.2025 17:58 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Combination of amplified emotion, directing using the mind, awareness, and body movement. Also, daily practice.
08.03.2025 02:06 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Enhancing the energy sensation around the skin will help me perceive attachments and cords, and eliminating those will provide for more positive emotion and energy for my Qigong practice. This makes is an ideal focus for the time being, as Iโve been feeling energetically sticky as of late.
07.03.2025 20:17 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I've noticed an increased awareness of the Dan Tiens and a few chakras. I also realized I haven't experimented with circulating chi around the middle Dan Tianโso I tried it, and it opened up a light, airy joy and even released some stuck chi from the area.
07.03.2025 20:12 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Two practices today: first, moving chi through the girdle vessels, strengthening it, adding the inner smile, and spiraling it down into the earth and up from the head. Thinking about focusing on girdle vessel chi circulation for a week to deepen energy perception around the body.

Iโd rather read real thoughts about someoneโs passionate interests.
I also wish I could block all political posts so I could focus on the reason I joined which was only to discuss hobbies
