The closest I can find is the ABC reporting that he announced he plans to reinstate it in Parli today - but that's just a statement of intention?

The QLD trans healthcare ban was called after 14 minutes of consultation which occurred WHILE they were announcing the decision.

So there's this awesome graffiti in Narrabundah - I've passed it a couple of times on my way into the city, "Hope" in trans pride colours.

Anyway, some asshole defaced it, but the local community got in touch with the artist who fixed it over the weekend.

And added "we always come back stronger" 🏳️‍⚧️

We ran a TDOV rally with the Trans Solidarity Network end of March, I'm not expecting we'll have the resources for an election specific one (especially with Easter), but I'd like to run some more leafleting/market days!

I'm not sure if the passport was returned when they were ultimately deported back to NZ

Anecdotally (but I trust the source) I've heard of a non-binary Kiwi who had their passport taken and was black holed for 4 weeks (family couldn't get any info about where they were, had to get the embassy involved)

That's good, we've heard anecdotal reports that Aussie and Kiwi trans and intersex travellers are being blocked from entry, having passports confiscated and in some cases are being held in immigration detention for weeks.

I hope DFAT updates their official travel advice soon.

I don't necessarily know that I can be at this rally (maybe?) but I can at least spread the word.
