Capra called it "a sensitive, heart-grabbing role" that fit his “concept of idealized America".
This week’s matinee is 1937’s “Navy Blue & Gold”. Starring Jimmy Stewart, Robert Young and Lionel Barrymore. This story revolves around three men at the United States Naval Academy.
