They co-opted a religion in order to subvert those that lack critical thinking skills in religious orders into believing that "hating the other" is what god would want, like how Radical Islamists co-opted Islam and Assad's political suicide bombers and combined the two to achieve their own ends.

Christian Nationalists are not Christians. They are white supremacists using the illusion of Europeanized Christianity to cloak their insidious ideologies.
