I have always feared programming and animation, and would constantly think to myself "one day ill be able to hire a programmer and an animator to help me, and we will make a game together." Then recently I said fuck it, ill do it myself.

I briefly entertained doing freelance game dev work but the pay never matches the time or effort that goes into it. I recently decided to fully commit myself to my personal project and just have faith that it will somehow pay off in the end. Im not quite ready to show anything yet, but im close.

Hello friends, I just wanted to give you all a quick update as I've been very silent for the past few months. I'm still struggling with my living situation, money, life in general, but I am fortunate enough to have a very loving partner who has been here for me through it all which has kept me sane.

Glad to be announcing a new game, and happy that it is something experimental and weird: a tiny, tense, turn-based strategy game about merging units into spectacular combinations, and then watching them evaporate thousands of bugs.

I was able to resolve the situation for this month with everyone's help. Im keeping this up to continue to raise money for next month when I plan to move but until then, I've bought myself some time to plan my next move.

While there are laws to protect tenants, if the landlord doesn't follow those laws then there isnt much you can do other than take someone to small claims court. When I spoke to my landlord and tried to calm him down he started boasting about how he's already been to prison 3 times lmao
