⚙️Meet Our First Artist!⚙️

We're thrilled to have Hollimate on our team as a Canon Jayvik Spread Artist! As a long term fan of our favorite scientists, she has shown their love in many different forms. Even in an apocalyptic end! We're excited to see what she has in store.

We're thrilled to have Gensyzart on our team as a Vikjayce AU Page Artist! Through their divorce arc and all the sweet longing between, she's been their biggest fan. We're excited to see what she has in store!

A long hiss, still with that uncomfortable buzzing undertone. Something must have gone wrong with Viktor’s filtration system. “It’s two clasps on either side. Push them in, then slide up.” Jayce’s head shot up in surprise. The Herald was looking slightly away from Jayce, as if he was just as nervous as Jayce was. The fingers of his working hand were clenched tightly and the metal plating groaned in protest. Scarcely daring to breathe, Jayce used Viktor’s staff to get to his feet. Taking a ginger step to stand in front of the Herald and balancing on his good leg, he slowly lifted both hands to pull the other man’s head around to face him. Standing this close to the Herald, nearly chest to chest, Jayce could feel the thrum of machinery working away beneath the surface. Hot air from the neck vents wafted past his hands. “You’re warm,” Jayce whispered. He wasn’t sure why that surprised him. “Of course I’m warm. I’m alive.” Viktor’s voice was a staticky blend of man and machine. Jayce took a ragged breath and felt for the clasps, finding them right about where he’d expect to find ears. He carefully pressed them in and felt more than heard a soft click. There was a faint scraping noise as he pushed the mask upwards. Once it was free, Jayce averted his gaze to set the mask down carefully behind him. Jayce had to tilt his head up a little to meet Viktor’s eyes, a bittersweet contrast to their difference in height before Viktor had made himself... this.

Jayce Giopara. Viktor reels. He has been so used to Talis, to red-and-gold, that he had forgotten about all the others who wanted to sink their teeth into Jayce. Without Viktor, Jayce has become this torn-apart thing, more bite-mark than flesh, drained of his hope, his light, his selflessness. Viktor hardly recognizes this Giopara, and yet… he is still Jayce. “...I haven’t seen your face in years,” Jayce says, out of the blue, and only then does Viktor see it— the soft, bleeding edges of Jayce’s heart, still pumping for Viktor, always beating for Viktor. But in this Jayce’s universe, the only love he can give to Viktor— the only love that they are allowed— is a love that hurts. “I didn’t think you were still… well, you. Under the mask.” “I am more than I have ever been,” Viktor says. It is what he said to his Jayce, so many years ago. This Jayce— Giopara, Viktor marvels again, Jayce Giopara— does not seem familiar with the weight of his statement, but he shoulders the words anyways— ever Atlas, the burdens of the world a hammer in his arms. “I never needed you to be more.” Jayce turns away from him. It takes everything— everything, every bit of willpower, every bit of restraint, every bit of love— that Viktor left within him to stop from placing a gentle hand on Jayce’s shoulder. “I only needed you to be you.” A pause. “Send me back.” So Viktor does.
