I would still go see it and judge for yourself but its nowhere near a good john wick movie

This is also just petty but the child actor that played young eve was not good lol and david castañeda was pretty good in those scenes and that little girl was not matching lol

This character being taken seemingly has no impact on her personal motivation for revenge but the ppl that happened to take them also happen to be who she has to kill for revenge

And the movie sets her up to be this “protector” character which just doesnt mesh well with the revenge plot. She only actively protects other characters in 2 fights and in the important one she loses and the character is taken.

Also the main character was just so bad at fighting that it was hard to watch. She basically lost all of the important fights in the movie. The one really cool fight sequence john wins it for her.

Like norman reedus is criminally underutilised. If you want to see this movie for him you will be wildly dissapointed by how little hes in it. He does wield a cool fucking shotgun in his single scene tho.

It was like their main takeaway from 4 was “not enough axes and too much screentime for interesting side characters”
