It's the opposite. We are doing this to raise funds for indigenous defense funds and organizations. Native people are participating in this gathering. Please talk to the people involved.

We will be giving $1000 to native orgs/defense funds and also breaking bread Thursday. An indigenous protestor is doing a land acknowledgement and we'll discuss the genocide this holiday was founded on. You are welcome to join. I'm sorry for any harm that this issue created.
