They literally do this constantly.

I think one of the things that annoys me is that the Republicans fully believe that rules and laws should only apply to people who disagree with them.

My reading wrap for the month, but just the highlights:

Hot Fuzz so underrated

I’ve legitimately never been more embarrassed to be American than I have been for the last year.

I finished this trilogy about two weeks ago and it is so good. The characters are so good. One of my favorite trilogies/series I’ve ever read.

I wish I had someone to text about all the good books I read. Or maybe a book club. Or both.

I’m reading One For My Enemies by Olivie Blake and Winston’s War by Max Hastings

I found out two weeks ago. that my best friend since high school took his own life in February. I’m absolutely devastated and still numb. I hope he’s finally at peace.

I just finished Nevernight and it was so good. The humor and storytelling was so good. Definitely recommend.

Life and Fate by Vasily Grossman

I blew through The Way of Kings in basically two days. Definitely worth the hype and completely in my fantasy wheelhouse. Can’t wait to read Words of Radiance!

The 25th and final book of my book advent. I haven’t heard of this one.

I’ve read 10/25 so far and it has been on of my favorite Christmas presents I’ve ever received. My sister did a phenomenal job.

Just finished this. Was a very fun read. Fast-paced and funny. Great main character. Definitely worth a read for a quick fantasy read. Stayed up too late reading it though.

The 18th advent book that I opened. I’m reliably informed by my mom that this is a beautiful book.

Raoul Wallenberg doesn’t get his flowers enough. Man saved ~100,000 Jews in Hungary and he’s significantly less well-known than Oskar Schindler who saved far fewer AND profited from them

I’m excited that I got tickets to the NCAA men’s basketball first round the day after my birthday. I didn’t think I was gonna live to see 38.

Before written words were a thing, story telling was done via voice! Audiobooks predate written books!
