For the week beginning Wed 25 February, the theme of the #100DaysOfPrayer is our readiness for change:
Let us give thanks that Jesus comes near and journeys with us through change, and that through Jesus, our eyes are opened to Godβs longing for change, for us and for our communities.

The 100 Days of Prayer is an invitation for all of us to pray together across and within our diocese, with shared intention and focus.
To support our prayers, we have created a weekly Prayer Diary with a theme to frame, and some prompts to focus on.

126 people will be presented with certificates having completed either year 1 or year 2 of CCS, and 21 people will be receiving Pastoral Care Part 1 certificates.

Communities across Mt Kenya East are facing the harsh realities of the climate crisis. Years of recurring drought have devastated harvests, depleted natural resources and pushed families into increased hardship.

This year the Bishop of Chelmsfordβs Lent Appeal is raising funds for Anglican Development Services of Mt Kenya East (ADSMKE) to support their work in response to climate change and in environmental conservation across our five linked partner dioceses in Kenya.

This year, Bishop Guli is walking the Barking Area Art Trail for her Lent and Holy Week Pilgrimage.
Today pilgrims walked from St Paul's Stratford to St Bartholomew's East Ham, via St Michael & All Angels' Manor Park and St Barnabas Little Ilford.
