I was out with a friend last weekend and we met up with her other half. Obviously a bloke in the pub thought I must have been single and need of his attention to rescue me from ‘third wheeling’. 🙄 Cue a load of lovely lads in their 20’s forming a protective ring around me. Bless them.

All being well my only child will be off to uni in Sept and I am not ok. Her Dad’s putting on a brave face but he fessed up
last week he’s also not ok. (Obviously I’m immensely proud and being supportive but it’s bloody hard).

The youngest of our friend group was 40 this week. So tonight we brought her to Nottingham for an ABBA show. Basic bitches - yes. Tonnes of fun - also yes!

I missed out the bit about getting tangled in a woman’s sari as I legged it. She was lovely about it. Her husband and kids were *crying* laughing.

They did a ‘Serial Killers - Live!’ exhibit and some of the ‘waxworks’ were actors. One opened his cell door and chased me and I had an asthma attack. I was escorted out. People queuing to go in could see me on CCTV.

I dislike the fact that my boss is unwell today. He’s a nice guy. But I love the fact that meetings in my diary are falling like dominoes as a result of his absence.

I feel fortunate to have missed that one.

They’re doing that distorted camera angle on him which just makes me think of Sir Digby Chicken Caesar from Mitchell and Webb.
