Yes! Agreed! I think it’s so nice to watch tennis matches that have low stakes. We’re so used to watching matches with incredibly high stakes so it’s a nice change to watch the players perform purely for entertainment

Madi’s win has got me all sorts of emotional today 🥹

It was my first time at a tennis tournament and I was emotionally overwhelmed okay lol

This was, and I’m not exaggerating, one of the best days of my life. My parents surprised me with Arthur Ashe stadium us open tickets for my bday and I cried when I got them lol. I got to see Madi and Federer win back to back and I was so happy that I cried again during their matches 🙃

I got lucky that the first pro I ever saw play was such an awesome person 😭

She almost feels like an old friend to me. I think that’s what it is

I know this is silly but Madi was the first pro player I ever got to watch live, so I’ve always felt connected to her. It’s like she was the first pro who ever felt real to me. It was like she invited me into this world. To watch her get to this point is just… idk I’m an emotional wreck today
