Jeeeeze, Doly Begum jumping ship is a big get for the federal Libs and a real oof for ONDP; Begum is the key reason that ONDP held that seat. Not sure they can keep it without her.

Also speaks to Carney's strength; he's now pulling floor crossers from right AND left.

How can Cooperation work if the NDP won't Cooperate?

Step 1. The Liberals and Greens work together and make an attractive, genuine, good faith off to the NDP.

Arrows branch off. The first arrow points to NDP AGREES. Best Case Scenario. Everyone works together. This leads to an image of Doug Ford with a red X over him.

The other arrow points to NDP DISAGREES. On to Plan B.

Step 2: Publicize the offer of cooperation. The details leak.

Step 3: The Liberals and Greens work together. The bad publicity depresses the NDP vote so the vote does not split in as many ridings

This leads to the same picture of Doug Ford with a red X over him.

Hey NDP! This also works if YOU offer to cooperate first.

Can't wait until the next election? Neither can we.

We're willing to marshal our resources to support an OLP leader who will put people before politics.

We need someone willing to make a one-time deal with the NDP and Greens to defeat Doug Ford.

Think it's pointless because NDP won't make a deal? Guess again.

Sick of Doug Ford?
Sick of strategically voting to get rid of Doug Ford and ending up with him anyway?

So Are We
but it’s a long, long time until the next election

Here’s how you can help us now
We’re starting by pushing the Ontario Liberal Party to adopt a policy resolution to support Electoral Reform

We want to accelerate this process by connecting with as many Local Riding Associations as possible at the AGM later this month

If you are a member, know a member, or are willing to join the OLP, you can help connect us. Get in touch with us: info@notoneseat.ca

Why the OLP?
Both the NDP and Greens had something about electoral reform, but the OLP did not. With the current chaos, this is a good opportunity to bring about change

What electoral system are you pushing for?
We’re following Fair Vote Canada’s lead and pushing for a nonpartisan Citizen’s Assembly on reform: instead of politicians picking a system that favours themselves, let the citizens decide what would be best

Aren’t you the strategic voting people?
We are the β€œFord sucks” people. We want him gone & we aren’t picky about how. But ultimately, Ford wins because our electoral system isn’t working

Does this mean you want to get rid of Bonnie Crombie?
If Bonnie’s aims align with ours, we like Bonnie. If there’s someone else who seems better able to get rid of Doug Fordβ€”especially if they are pragmatic about howβ€”we like them better.

Help us spread the word by sharing this message, & sign our open letter so we can get in touch if we need help between now and the next election

We know he's corrupt, but this is evidence of illegal activity among his staff.

Legal action must be taken. Start by making noise with your MPPs.

All the means is that we have to get very loud about this and stay loud about it.

Granted, that's tricky when there's always a new scandal.

But the PCs turned "Gas Plants" into a stain on the Liberal party. The Opposition needs to use the same tactics.

It was the PCs making a lot of noise that got McGuinty's staff arrested. We need to get the Opposition MPPs to make even more noise.

Just like "Gas Plant Scandal" dogged Wynne's political career, "Greenbelt Scandal" needs to dog Ford's. Gotta stay loud to make it stick.

13.06.2025 17:11 β€” πŸ‘ 5    πŸ” 3    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Yes, and McGuinty staffers went to jail for it over the gas plant scandal.

We should require no less from Ford's staff. They need to be arrested.

A reminder that Dalton McGuinty's staffers went to jail for similar actions over the Gas Plant Scandal.

Records were permanently deleted by Ford staff. This needs legal intervention.

Call and email your MPPs to demand the RCMP get involved.

One thing that I was thought was revealing about the divisions within Canada:

When Carney acknowledged Poilievre's hard work on his campaign in his victory speed, the crowd of Liberals cheered.

When Poilievre mentioned Carney in his concession speech, there was loud booing.

Carney didn’t shut the door on proportional representationβ€”a shift that shows our advocacy is working.

But Singh is right: progress takes pressure.

The NDP says they support PR. It’s time they act like itβ€”and make it a condition of support for a minority government.
