Harlem mourns one of the greats, Dr. Hazel N. Dukes Longtime NAACP New York State Conference President and activist Hazel Dukes has died, according to her son. She was 92.

Hazel Dukes was an icon to so many New Yorkers. Head of the NAACP New York State Conference, she fought so hard for civil rights and the causes she believed in. I’m praying for Hazel, her family, and everyone who knew and loved her.

I have colleagues in Silver Spring (NOAA HQ) who, let's just say "witnessed" Elon's team at facility and overheard them at various times. Apparently there was a conversation with "giggles" about plans to cancel non-SpaceX launch contracts thru NASA citing "inefficiency". That's pretty wild stuff.
