It can, yeah! It's why I always go through the trouble of a fresh install every expansion, it cuts down on this for me! It was a big problem with WoW for me personally. It hasn't happened to me with FFXIV in a while because I go through the effort of preventative measures.

The only reason I was able to break free for one game is because there's exclusive content for it only for Apple Arcade and I knew I'd never be able to 100% it regardless. It sucks to see this trend continue in "decorate your living space with crafting" games.

Pokemon is a pretty big part of me too, but I couldn't decide between Sword (the game I first completed a dex), Platinum (my absolute favorite), or X/Y (my first nuzlocke plus my favorite customization/features) so I chose NONE.

It was also painful to not put a SnK/King of Fighters game in, but I couldn't decide which of them was among my favorite. Same with Final Fantasy, lol.

I excluded MMOs/live service games though the top row originally was Warcraft, Ragnarok Online, and Final Fantasy 14. With my recent grumbling towards live service games, it didn't feel right to highlight them so here's nine favorites.

It really was demoralizing to see as a fan of both communities at the time. Those artists had no support from either side.

Forgot to mention it, but they took the harassment in game so artists couldn't attend art parties with their friends without these weirdos coming in to crash them. Really gross behavior and those people never got ostracized for it.

I am still angry at a certain mmo community for jumping on that hate train with some of my favorite artists when they found out that was what they used to draw 😩

I badly injured my arm/shoulder so playing on my phone is v. difficult right now so I am especially grateful I never spent any of the ferts I earned over the last year so I can speed through this event.

I know it's so that there's a "challenge", but the challenge is remembering to log in every three hours to cycle out the flowers OK 🙄

idk how to feel other than annoyed that pocket camp complete kept the most irritating mechanic of their gardening events (that the critters have a low catch rate unless you pay the tickets)
