It is not an easy thing - I’ve done a lot of conference speaking as an introvert, and evenings are generally “find the easiest food that doesn’t require me talking to a human and crash in the hotel room.

I’m in the middle of @scalzi.com’s latest opus, and I gotta say as an atheist (who used to be catholic) that I really appreciate his treatment of religion (little “r”) and faith.

It took a few years of cruising before I learned there’s an actual name - mal de debarquement. Unlike a lot of folks I don’t get motion sick and I don’t mind the feeling.
