She's got Bette Davis Eyes

She's also got Greta Garbo's lymphatic system and Jayne Mansfield's left big toe

As museums go, it's pretty disturbing to be honest

Watched The Orphanage for the first time in many years last night (at least 15 I reckon) and I'd forgotten how good it is. Scares the crap out of you and then breaks your god damn heart at the end 😒 (but also manages to give you a happy ending of sorts!)

Kinda surprised that the woman who made the sublime Promising Young Woman and the highly enjoyable Saltburn has made a film as misjudged as "Wuthering Heights".

It's an interesting dynamic, their scene at the beginning of Sarcophagus is wonderful.

Of course it's only an episode beforehand where she says "why do you think I stay, affection for *him*"

Still hate that her last word was Blake!

But. Avon taking centre stage is wonderful, and obliquely at least they strike a blow against the Federation by ensuring Destiny doesn't have to go cap in hand to the Federation (there's a better version of this where Sara's co-conspirators turn out to be Federation agents.)

Mission is wonderful and naff in equal measure. The solution is obvious, Liberator only just surviving the run through the meteors and then turning back and somehow surviving again off camera is jarring, plus we have the worst hiding something under the mattress moment in tv history!
