Life. I’m 39 now and it’s longer than some but shorter than most. That’s ok!! It’s been one hell of a fight! I am just really tired. Palliative care helps with pain and adjusting to the situation. I’m not on Hospice yet. I just don’t have anything left to fight my own body and that is ok.

Be careful, stay warm, and hydrated. Shoveling is so hard. We just cleaned off cars at our half way point. Staying prepared incase of emergencies and we need to get out for whatever reason. Side roads are impassable for anything besides 4 wheel drive that play in this stuff for fun. Farm girl here!

We are currently getting about an inch of frozen rain that is turning everything into ice as soon as it hits the surface. It’s 28 degrees and dropping. We still have another 4in of snow headed our way. Then temps will bottom out to single digits with feel like temperatures of negative teens.

You know it’s a real storm when the Waffle House closes down!

I have dogs. One is a Great Pyrenees 5 month old puppy who loves snow! Getting him inside when there is snow on the ground is a struggle! He does somersaults. He tucks his head and rolls down the hill on his back.

We had a state of emergency wind storm. It tore down our privacy fence, part of our roof and gutters. They wanted proof it wasn’t torn down before the storms. It was ridiculously hard trying to search for current pictures of our roof. I learned! Hopefully the information helps others!

Before the snow and ice hits take pictures of your property, house, gutters, and fences. You will need it for insurance coverage!

Stay safe and warm! We are expecting 3/4 to an Inch of Ice plus upwards of 17in of snow. Hopefully they’re wrong. We are prepared if they’re correct. We could get 2 inches of snow per hour. We do not see this type of weather down here. If you fall on ice do not try to catch yourself! Be careful. 💙

With his thumbs down vote was amazing. Even though I didn’t agree With some of his political policies but he was a stand up man. I was heartbroken when he passed away.

There are only a few Republicans that I have ever had complete respect for because they put country over politics. Barbra was one of them. She no longer considered herself a Republican after Trump. John McCain who stood up for the affordable care act and always put party over politics.

Even Barbra said Jeb her own son was incompetent and she hated Trump with a passion. I loved Barbra. She was so authentic! A woman who spoke her mind and never bent to authority. I miss her.

I watch Noem answer questions about the laws of ICE the other day and every single one was wrong. I am still baffled how I know the laws and she was a congresswoman, a state legislator, and a governor and knows nothing. How did people continue to vote stupidity into power?
