My favorite way of cooking eggs is basting them. With a lidded pan, crack an egg into the fat of your choice and let it cook for a lil bit ala sunny-side-up. Then, at high heat, throw a splash of water or brother into the pan and put the lid on for 30-35 seconds; the liquid will steam the top of the egg, perfectly cooking the rest of the white and ensuring exquisite runny yolks. I'm still surprised how infrequently I encounter another person who is aware of this technique
