Transportation choice is transportation working.

The point is to give people choice of how they get around.

One more bum on a bike seat is one more seat available on transit or one less car on the road in front of you.

This is what people are saying!

True. Six days a month for six months. Maybe. And it’s fun. But if you cycle a lot, you’re still allowed to drive or take transit. Choices, you know?

We need real plans that address traffic congestion and allows people to safely choose active modes. We don’t need baseless arguments based on “feels”.

As someone who has had 4 bikes stolen in less than a year, I completely agree!

Think outside the car!!

Having the options to travel by transit, bike, and foot makes a huge difference for my family. We are able to make things work with one vehicle which helps us afford our home.

Having transportation options also saves us money as a city because congestion and road infrastructure are expensive.

I made the same offer to Councillor Dan McLean and Rick Bell, who have been vocal opponents of bike lanes and don't believe they benefit Calgarians.

More bike lanes = less congestion.

But we have to invest in making them a safe mode of transportation for all Calgarians.
