Finally shipped this, I've had a lot of fun making a Mac OS 9-styled design for this and keeping it "retro web" while using modern techniques. I have a blog post about the whole thing as well as what I plan to do with the site in the future, read it maybe?

seeing the mass callouts and exposés in the vrc music scene makes me falling a bit out of said scene a bit cathartic. i love the energy and the experience of the events but god there’s just always something going on with some prominent scene members/community figures. it’s hard to trust anyone fully

i’m stuck in a fucking signup loop on it and it’s driving me nuts. i can’t actually get my playtest submission to push and i’ve been trying for over a year atp. i even had a friend send me a direct guaranteed invite link and it still fucked me over :/

feedback looping with the title cards is also super fun, this might finally be my push to mess with more analog footage editing and effects

in other news, i got an awesome deal on a VX2100 and got my fisheye lens in for it yesterday, been having a blast fucking around with this thing

i have a bare bones frontpage but i’m trying to learn html since i don’t wanna use a web builder. it’s a lot to take in for someone who doesn’t do any coding type stuff at all but i hope to have something proper one day

update: i found a few more

also as nice and convenient as OPL manager is, i’m really surprised they don’t offer a bulk bin2iso converter for the handful of ps2 games that are CD based. they have a basic converter but nothing for bulk which is annoying when trying to get a whole library sorted and prepped.

ended up being a *smidge* more complicated than i thought, and i may have to jump around a couple ways to get ps1 games working. someone on reddit supposedly has found a way to get it to work with the specific loader i’m using, but if it doesn’t i believe i can make it work from a 1tb SD memcard

PS2 games completely transferred, now to get cover art uploaded and to patch the PS1 games 🥳
