£75 Mario Kart, more download-mandatory carts than last gen, existing updated/enhanced Switch games will cost you apparently a significant amount, preorders look very limited and there are hurdles to do so, most games shown are PS4/5 ports, it's £395 just for the system

I hadn't even seen the Mario Kart price, that's insane! I just saw the preorder system in the last few minutes and that is just as bananas, I know I wouldn't qualify.

Just saw a tl;dr of the Switch 2 presentation and am I the only one fairly non-plussed? Most of 3rd party titles are PS4/5 ports, GameCube stuff is nice but I have one of those, & the Mario Kart is fucking openworld (blech). Will see what happens in the next 2 months but not looking like a Day 1 buy
