The amount Nintendo's managed to shift of these is staggering considering how there's still fuck-all on it that you can't already get on Switch (Bananza and MAYBE Mario Kart World aside). I'll probably get a Switch 2 at some point this year but I'm in no immediate rush.

If you don't buy special editions - which you basically shouldn't, they're almost always worthless for ANY title no matter the maker - you don't have issues at LRG. Simple as.

I know Nik enjoyed the first one these guys did when they were using real hardware, but they sadly never were able to get a second working before his passing. I'll be trying my best not to lose terribly tonight on this emulated setup - come and join us.

Considering the community we met in over 2 decades ago, it'll have to be the big pieces he did for the Sonic-covered issues, in particular the deep-dive on Sonic 2's history, my favourite of the MD games. And a particular Endgame he surprised me with, a lovely present. Miss you, Nick.

Nik was one of my oldest and closest friends, I'm stunned by this news, it's a terrible blow. He was a wonderful person and I always enjoyed our meeting up at least once a year ever since we started that in 2003, and I was a regular in his Twitch streams. I will miss him immensely.

I just heard the news... I've known Nik for 24 years, we've been meeting in person for 22. This is a sledgehammer blow. Utterly devastated.
