There are bees that visit me every time I go outside. This has been happening for a few years. For the last couple of weeks, there have been two that visit and crawl around on me. I mentioned it to my parents. They thought they were probably hornets, despite no aggression. Googled. Honeybees.

The Trump admin has shut down the CIA’s World Factbook, a country reference that for six decades has provided data on birth and death rates, major exports, and more. Long used by government officials and by researchers, educators, and journalists, the database was taken offline today.

I’m not sure we’ve properly addressed how profoundly disturbing it is that America can largely shrug at the stashing of human beings in giant warehouses.

The world is currently more hazardous than it was, because all the superpowers are coalescing around colonialism and exploitation. Putin is clinging to power, while elevators, windows, tea, and self-bludgeoning become a common cause of death amongst his minions. 2/6
