Last night at Hartlepool FE College reminded me why I love this town: positive conversations, great questions and real unity. When we listen face to face, our community’s strength shines. This is just the beginning. 💙

On FB this week @jonathanbrashmp.bsky.social was getting grief for not being from Hartlepool despite having lived there since he was a toddler, they were pointing out his accent which was strong Scottish when we were kids at school together and has blended over the years.

I had an amazing visit to Hartlepool’s Health and Social Care Academy.

We’re not just growing our hospital - we’re putting Hartlepool on the regional map for healthcare and creating fantastic career opportunities for local people!
