Tried to be a twinky femboy and had the misfortune of lurking in local gay spaces and "enjoyed" being treated like a woman-like sex object to be dominated and degraded. And a lot of them hate trans women because not only they take agency back for themselves, they impart it on many GNC folks too.

Most bigoted people who say they're okay with effeminate gay men and butch masc women (but draw the line at people being trans) don't actually give me any faith that they're totally not homophobic and completely okay with people being gay. They are usually homophobic too, even if it's more subtle.

Obviously not true for all of us but if you want effeminate gay men so badly might I suggest trans mascs, many of whom feel more comfortable embracing feminine elements of ourselves when allowed to do so in a way that aligns with our true gender
