Also bought Wednesday’s new album Bleeds on CD as a blind buy since having read it being described as “country shoegaze” and that had me very interested. Currently listening to it as I wait for stuff to install on my Steam Deck and so far very accurate and very good!

I BOUGHT THE STEAM DECK THAT WAS ON SALE LAST WEEK AND IT CAME TODAY!!! I’VE BEEN WANTING A STEAM DECK FOR SOOO LONG HELL YES!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO PROPERLY PLAY GAMES ON A PC SO THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE! ALSO BOUGHT A BUNCH OF GAMES THAT WERE ON SALE OF COURSE!

Friday 10/03/2025:

Stopped by B&N and they had Big Thief’s newest album on sale and a restock of ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS OF LAST YEAR (Magdalena Bay’s Imaginal Disk).

Watched Ep 7 of Peacemaker Season 2 and holy fuck. Vigilante has been my favorite character throughout the show but this episode just solidifies it. He’s so goddamn funny that I honestly forget how competent of a fighter he is because when he pops off HE POPS OFF. This season has been incredible 🔥

Just got this in the mail! A CD of Othiel’s WORLDS FASTEST CAR! It released back in May and I only just listened to it last month and it rips! And I (luckily) ended up snagging their last copy lol

Went to a local card store yesterday and ended up finding a shiny Mabosstiff! They’re complete now and it honestly makes me so happy to have finally gotten this but to also have found it at a store! But now I think…I have to…collect more shinies?!?

1/3 of Demon Slayer’s final arc is watched! It was FUCKING INSANE. Akaza had such a valid villain crash out. I knew buying this figure was wise but that backstory holy shit.

About to watch the first Demon Slayer movie of this final arc!!! One of my most anticipated this year and my September film pick! I am (not) ready!!! Such a big year for franchise releases but this one feels like an era coming to an end.

I’ve barely even had time to process this past week that we were getting more JJK but I’m so pumped! I’m glad Akutami is strictly writing and Yuji Iwasaki is illustrating because it was very clear that doing both was having a significant negative effect on Akutami. Love the art of this guy already!

I loved Weapons so much I even made some posters check ‘em out!

Absolutely loved it and it’s definitely one of the best horror films this year. Great performances with a perfect blend of horror and humor and an ending that was PERPEKTO. It had a sequence I’d been patiently waiting for and they delivered holy shit. Cregger is 2 for 2.

About to watch one of my most anticipated films this year. The trailers have made it look insane and I AM READY!

Dogra Magra also comes with extras just like Criterion and an alternate cover that I think is the original cover art? I swapped it to that because it looks really good.

Had never seen Seven Samurai but watched it immediately and I get it. I understand why it’s one of the greatest films of all time. Completely balanced in its humor and emotion along with having deep philosophical elements. 5 out of 5/10 out of 10 I can’t stop thinking about it.

Got two early birthday gifts last Friday! B&N is not only having a Criterion sale but they’re having a “Cult Classics” sale which includes Radiance and Indicator films. Picked up Dogra Magra because it sounded interesting and it’s from Toshio Matsumoto who also directed Funeral Parade of Roses

Went to 2NC and picked up a sick little haul. This Hedwig Criterion was only $12??? Sealed and never opened which is crazy but I’ll take it. Embroideries and Sense & Sensibility were both $2 and two works I’ve been tempted to buy for about a month and I was lucky enough to find them used.

Didn’t realize this was based on the 2003 film Save the Green Planet! That has been on my watchlist for forever I need to check it out before this!

Never expected to get a sequel to this but cool!

Very curious to see Villeneuve’s take on the character!
