This is very concerning. We hope the cyclist is ok and that the driver stopped. The volume of vehicles on residential streets is very high in this area. And many drivers don't give way at junctions, creating risks for pedestrians including school children, cyclists and everyone else...

A large black metal litter bin on the pavement next to a bus shelter.
There's now a shiny new litter bin at the bus stop at Polwarth Parish Church!
The much-used litter bin had been removed without warning, creating unsightly accumulations of litter all over the pavement. Thank you Cllr Neil Ross for pushing for a replacement!

We meet monthly and all residents are encouraged to come along and share their views on local issues.
Sadly there has been little behaviour change and no enforcement on this, especially at this junction!

The mouth of the junction is narrowed for drivers and there is a raised table, wider footpaths & dropped kerbs with tactiles to help pedestrians cross.
