I have seen a lot of cursed stuff in my time in academia but this is among the *most* cursed.
Grammarly is generating miniature LLMs based on academic work so that users can have their writing ‘reviewed’ by experts like David Abulafia, who died less than two months ago.

And hey, maybe me sharing my stuff can help other people feel better about themselves and their own creations too.

Sharing it today because I want to continue to remind myself that I can 1) make good art and 2) even my ‘less’ good art is still worth sharing and being proud of. There’s a lot about this sketch that you could argue needs to be ‘fixed’ to make it ‘better’ but! It’s also more than ok as is!

They are smiling slightly and looking off to the left hand side of the image, their head and neck visible at a roughly 3/4 angle. There is shading in the image, both to suggest the colors of the character despite being purely a pencil sketch and to add shadows to the character.

Drew my pony sona on a sticky note at work a little while back and was shocked at how good it was, then I ended up shading it and adding the suggestion of colors and it was still really good???? Anyways this beauty is now taped into the front of my work journal for morale lol
