That critique works when Democrats have unused tools available. For an overnight military strike they weren't notified about? They used exactly the tools they have: War Powers Act, public pressure, resolution votes. What specific tool did they leave on the table?

1. War Powers vote is already what Jeffries & Schumer have been calling for.
2. Block confirmations - valid but useless to the Iran strike that already happened
3. Emergency hearings - minority party doesn't control committee chairs. They cannot convene hearings. Republicans have to agree
